Welcome to CSNN in the beautiful city of Vancouver, B.C.!
Welcome to CSNN Vancouver, B.C.’s premier school for holistic nutrition education. Dedicated to promoting health and wellness through natural nutrition, we offer a comprehensive diploma program that integrates science, natural nutrition, the body/mind/spirit connection, and the environment. Our approach is holistic, blending practical knowledge with hands-on experience in a supportive, student-centered learning environment.
CSNN Vancouver offers many features that make studying here a unique and rewarding experience. Equipped with two classrooms, we offer students a variety of schedule options for the Natural Nutrition Diploma Program. We have two intakes per year, March and September, and students can choose from day classes, night classes, a 1-year full time or 2-year part time program, all of which offer the same high standard of teaching and academic support. At CSNN Vancouver we are happy to offer this diversity. When students choose a schedule that best supports a work/life balance they are more likely to achieve a high level of personal and professional success.
Our school is located in a neighborhood of Vancouver called Kitsilano, at West Broadway and Vine. Known colloquially as "Kits", our neighborhood is home to many young families and students as well as yoga studios, organic markets, cafes and Vancouver's Greektown. Close proximity to downtown Vancouver, being well served by Vancouver's bus system, walking distance to parks, beaches and popular Granville Island has made the neighborhood a very desirable community to live. Book stores and bike routes are also close by.
Kits’ now hip and happening personality started in the 1960’s. The area was an inexpensive neighborhood to live in the 1960’s and attracted many from the counterculture from across Canada and the United States and was known as one of the two hotbeds of the hippie culture in the city, the other being Gastown. One remaining artifact of the 1960s is the Naam Cafe at 4th and Macdonald, providing vegetarian, vegan, and natural foods. And Greenpeace was founded in Kitsilano, with its first office opening there on Cypress Street just off West Broadway in 1975. In addition to its residential areas and beaches, Kitsilano is home to two distinct commercial strips with shops, restaurants and other services. The first is along West 4th Avenue between Burrard and Balsam Streets, while the other, sometimes known as West Kitsilano, is located along West Broadway between Larch and Blenheim Streets. In terms of health, wellness and sustainability, the area abounds with opportunities for students to live what they learn.
Whether your interest in natural nutrition is based on personal growth, family health, or a professional career choice, we welcome you to join us here.
