General Information
CSNN offers a series of workshops that lead to an Advanced Holistic Nutrition™ diploma. CSNN graduates have earned automatic entrance into CSNN’s Advanced Holistic Nutrition program, and qualify for any and all workshops. Students may take one workshop from this program, or earn enough credits towards the Advanced Holistic Nutrition diploma. This program is also open to graduates of other holistic nutrition schools, and health care professionals, who provide their transcripts and pass an entrance exam. However, an entrance exam is not required for those wanting to take workshops for interest purposes only, and who sign a diploma waiver form. Mandatory and workshops with prerequisites do not qualify as interest courses. The Advanced Holistic Nutrition™ Program consists of both mandatory and elective subjects, allowing students to design and complete their own course of study at their own pace. Students of this program will benefit from valuable courses that can be applied towards a diploma and that are scheduled as workshops for students' convenience. Students have four years to complete the required number of credits and mandatory courses. The starting point of the four years is when the student commits to their first advanced holistic nutrition workshop. (For distance education workshops this committment starts when registering for a workshop, and for classroom workshops the committment begins when starting the workshop). Students should note that even though these courses are offered as workshops that there is a home-study component in order to be prepared for the final test after each course. A number of credits are attached to each subject, depending on its length. An average of 80% must be obtained to earn the credits for the course. To qualify for the Advanced Holistic Nutrition™ Diploma, those with the R.H.N.™ designation need to accumulate 50 credits. Other practitioners require 57 credits. These workshops also qualify as CAHN-Pro upgrade hours. R.H.N.s who have completed AN106 and AN109 qualify for membership into the U.S. organization, National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP). www.nanp.org A T2202A will be given to students for the tuition amount.
