Halifax
CSNN Halifax is located in the heart of the downtown where you'll also find art galleries, museums, historic sites, seaport farmers market, beautiful churches, boutique shopping, sidewalk cafés and of course nightclubs. Halifax is known for its lively entertainment, spectacular shows, first class sporting events, live theatre on both sides of the harbor, as well as scrumptious dining. Halifax is a modern port city teeming with culture and heritage and the perfect place to attend the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Halifax has an impressive array of entertainment, local-food restaurants, and gorgeous gardens. Boasting with charming seaside towns, sun-drenched beaches, sparkling coves and miles of rugged shoreline guarded by graceful lighthouses. City living with the charms of small town life and the pristine beauty of nature - all in one place! At CSNN Halifax we offer the one-year diploma program in Natural Nutrition that leads to the professional designation Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant (RHN). We are currently accepting students for our Day Class that begins September, as well as our Night Class that begins in March. Lectures take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Space is limited to 25 for each class, we therefore encourage application ASAP in order to secure a seat. With so many opportunities in complementary health, local farming, and natural beauty the Halifax branch integrates this into our weekly practicum sessions. The aim is to add to the curriculum by inviting professionals from our community to lecture on related topics providing us with an opportunity to network and learn about our community's health care practitioners. Students enjoy our annual trip to a bio-dynamic farm, in-class intro to yoga, raw foods & sprouting session, and presentations from professionals such as, osteopaths, naturopathic doctors, reflexologists, etc. To discuss the program in more detail, please feel free to contact us at 902-425-0895. In health, Jennifer King, RHN |
